GE Refrigerators Suck !
My GE model GSS22JFPHWW is 4 years old and for 1 year now I've been listening to this howling noise in my freezer.. I dont care if the fan is off or on I just want it to PICK one and stay that way !! Its SOOO annoying. Thats only 1 of 3 issues I've had with it. The seal on the ice dispenser is warped causing the growth of icebergs on the inside door (See my other video) and the water dispenser now works when it feels like it. Piece of Junk !

I’ve read online of people replacing the fan over and over and over.. its a poor design.. I envy my parents Whirlpool. 16 years old, still ticking.. no problems.. GE 4 years old.. falling apart..
KitchenAid must be made by GE… same noisy fan echoing and shaking things. Talk about ‘things that go bump!’ This does everything.
have been trying to figure out why mine is making the same noie and found your post….. I’m listening to my GE refrigerator do the same thing – F-in’ annoying!!! Any luck getting it fixed? If so, what do to fix it???
I’ve read the DIY forums and have read people had repairmen come out and replace the condenser fan over and over and over and over but the problem keeps coming back.. must be a design flaw.. Im just hoping the fan will eventually die and be quiet.. sometimes I cut the breaker off to kill the power.. it is a temporary fix if you just want quiet..
My ge bottom freezer refrigerator had an internal fire and melted all the insulation.
GE refrigerators are dangerous. They can burn your house down.
